What the school offers, and what it costs

Ocean Vibes Morocco, which also trades as Ocean Vibes Surf Club, prices its lessons in euros and per person (prices checked on 25 October 2026). A two-hour group lesson costs €30, with three to six students per instructor. Semi-private lessons, for two, cost €40 and private lessons €50. Children aged 4 to 10 have their own class at €20 an hour, which starts with games on the sand.

The wetsuit, board and leash are provided during lessons. The €3-a-day wetsuit charge applies to rentals only. A foam board costs €7 an hour or €17 a day, a hard board €12 or €22. There are changing rooms, so bring a towel.

Our advice: from three lessons on, buy a pack. Six group hours cost €84, or €28 per two-hour lesson, and twelve hours €150, or €25. If you can already stand up, a hard board and wetsuit cost €25 for the day, less than one lesson. Our surfing section compares these prices with the other schools.

The surf trip takes the whole day, with a two-hour lesson in the morning: €60 to the Essaouira spots, €80 to Imsouane, with two people minimum. The surf camp adds full board and the airport transfer. The school advertises “from €230” for a weekend and “from €605” for a week, but its detailed price lists go down to €215 and €580 in a room for three. See the surf camps in the village and in Imsouane, for comparison.

Where to find it in Sidi Kaouki

The school has no street address, just “Beach, Sidi Kaouki”. Founded by Boujemaa Lotfi, it set up on this beach in 2018. Driving into the village from Essaouira, the mosque is on your left and a car park straight ahead. Turn right into that car park, walk twenty metres straight on, then turn left into the big square. The school is in the middle, among the other surf clubs, and the Iziki café-restaurant is on the same square.

The village is 26 km and 26 minutes by road from Bab Doukkala. The Iziki restaurant is 200 m and three minutes on foot from the grand-taxi rank. Our page on Sidi Kaouki village gives the bus times. The school arranges an airport shuttle on request, price on request too.

Who it suits, and what to know before you book

The school teaches every level, and beginners start on the sand. But Sidi Kaouki beach is open to the ocean and has currents. Our advice: if you are staying in town and have never surfed, take your first lesson in the bay, at Explora for instance, then come here to progress. For the long wave, weigh the €80 trip against a lesson in Imsouane itself, at EasyRide: the village is 94 km and 1 h 27 by road from Sidi Kaouki.

The school opens every day from 10:00 to 20:00, all year round, going by an undated FAQ. The latest sign of activity online is a blog post dated 3 January 2026, on a site with a 2024 copyright. Nothing is written down about cancellation, the instructors’ languages or paying in dirhams. The school claims ISA and IKO certification, which we could not confirm. Ring +212 6 44 70 77 45 before you book.
