What each lesson includes

EasyRide Surf School sells three options, in dirhams (prices checked on 25 October 2026). A group lesson costs 350 MAD, with no more than five students per teacher. Semi-private costs 450 MAD for two people at most, of a similar level. Private, one student to one teacher, costs 550 MAD. Board and wetsuit are included in all three.

The length of a lesson, its time and whether prices are per person are yours to ask. For semi-private that matters: 450 MAD for the pair and 450 MAD each are not the same budget. Get it confirmed in writing before you book.

On request, the school adds a photographer in the water, video analysis of your waves, zinc and sun cream, with no price shown. It offers discounts on long-term bookings, lessons or board hire, and to retreat organisers, with no figures given.

For hire, the school has foam boards, 7 to 8 ft mid-lengths, 8 to 9 ft longboards and logs over 9 ft. Only the logs, hand-shaped classic longboards, carry a price, in euros: €30 for one day, €25 by the week, €20 beyond two weeks. Nothing says whether the last two are daily rates. Our view: ask for the total before hiring for a week.

Where the school is and how to get there

The school’s address is “Aftas, bay imsouane, agadir 80043”: postcode 80043 belongs to the Agadir Ida-Outanane prefecture, which the village falls under. The school sits beside regional road 211, about twenty metres from a car park. You reach the beach by the bay steps. For Imsouane bay’s right-hander, allow 540 m and a 7-minute walk to the nearest point you can reach on foot from the take-off.

By car from Bab Doukkala, allow 99 km and about 1 h 35 to the village. The drive, when to head back and where to sleep are covered on our Imsouane village page. Our view: on a day trip, book a late-morning lesson so you can drive home in daylight.

Who it suits, and what to know before booking

The group lesson suits a first attempt as well as an intermediate surfer. Private lessons run from complete beginner to advanced. The school calls its teachers certified but does not name the body. It was founded by Yassine Bifiri, who comes from Imsouane. He worked at Imi Bay first and then went into business with his brother. Among the teachers, Omar Oukhair, 28, has more than five years of coaching.

Season, hours and languages spoken are not given. The school’s website dates from 24 August 2025, it last changed on 7 May 2026 and its photos date from August to October 2025: these are its most recent signs of trading. All of them postdate the demolitions of 18 January 2024 on the Cathedral side.
