Eleven rooms, from 9 to 35 m²

Camille and Jean-Charles, from Paris, have lived in Morocco for fifteen years and have run the house since 2021. They describe it as an 18th-century bourgeois town house. The eleven rooms, on three levels, all have a window on the patio, and each has its own shower room and toilet. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace, or in the patio and lounge when the weather turns.

The euro rates, breakfast included, are “from” prices (checked on 25 October 2026). The 9 m² single, on the third floor, starts at €45. The standard double, 12 to 13 m², has a window on the patio only, from €63. The comfort double, 15 to 16 m², looks onto both the patio and the outside, with a shower or a bath, from €72. The 20 m² junior suite sleeps three, from €83.70. The family suite, three bedrooms and two shower rooms for four, starts at €121.50, over 30 or 35 m² depending on which page you read.

Booked online, prices come out in dirhams that do not match this card. For the night of 12 November 2026, the standard double comes to 781.84 MAD and the comfort double to 893.53 MAD. The family suite is 1,507.84 MAD for four adults on 16 November. A tourist tax is added: 55.85 MAD for one night for two, 111.69 MAD for four (rates checked on 25 October 2026). Our view: the comfort room’s extra 3 m² cost 111.69 MAD more that night, and they buy the only outside window among the doubles. For more than two nights, we recommend the comfort double.

In the evening the house serves a set table d’hôte menu, starter, main and pudding, at 180 MAD, 100 MAD for under-12s. Book it at least 48 hours ahead.

39 rue Ceuta: five minutes from two gates

The riad is 350 m and a 5-minute walk from Bab Doukkala, 360 m and 5 minutes from Bab Marrakech, and 460 m and 6 minutes from Bab Sbaâ. Place Moulay Hassan is 610 m away, 8 minutes, and the Skala de la Ville 640 m, 9 minutes. No car enters the medina’s lanes, so your taxi leaves you at a gate.

The riad helps arrange transfers from any airport in Morocco, priced on request, and keeps luggage. Check-in runs from 14:00 to 19:00. Our advice: if you arrive after 19:00, write before you set off so someone meets you at the gate.

Who it suits, and what to know before booking

The doubles are for couples, the two suites for families, with a cot in the comfort double, the junior suite and the family suite. A group can take all eleven rooms, up to 24 people, for two nights or more. The single was not offered online on the dates we tried, so ask for it by email.

Cancellation is free up to 10 days before arrival. After that the whole stay is charged. The code LETSGO gives 10% off a direct booking. Watch the breakfast: it comes with the room, but the riad also lists it among the perks of booking direct, so ask if you book elsewhere.
