What each package includes
Surf Twins sells three six-night packages at Sidi Kaouki, priced in euros (rates checked on 25 October 2026). All of them include a private room with Wi-Fi, breakfast and a packed lunch. Board, wetsuit and leash are provided. Daily transport to the day’s spot and a private transfer to and from Essaouira airport are included. Dinner is in none of the three.
The €380 package gives you a guide, not an instructor. Each day the guide picks the spot by swell, wind and tide, from La Grotte to La Corona or Sidi Kaouki. It includes no lessons, no supervised afternoon session and no photos. The €450 package adds 12 hours of lessons, 2 hours a day, with no more than five students per instructor. It also adds supervised afternoon surfing and photos. The €550 package adds an hour of yoga a day on top. Our advice: if you are a beginner, the €70 gap between the first two packages pays for the 12 hours of lessons, the afternoon supervision and the photos. That is the one to book.
The school also sells a seven-night week that mixes surfing, yoga and outings. It costs €800 a person in a shared room and €900 in a private room, in a guesthouse with a garden and a pool at Sidi Kaouki. All meals are included, with six surf lessons and five yoga sessions. The week starts on a Sunday and takes twelve people at most.
Where the school is and how to get there
The school is in the village of Sidi Kaouki, 26 km and 26 minutes by road from Essaouira. It runs a surf shop there with gear hire and a place to leave your things. Group lessons start from the school, on Sidi Kaouki beach, and there is free parking nearby. Turn up 15 minutes early.
On a package there is nothing to arrange from Essaouira airport: the transfer is included. From Marrakech or Agadir the packages add €80, but the school’s FAQ gives €70 from Marrakech airport, for a drive of about 2 hours 30. Get the figure confirmed in writing, and ask whether it covers one way or the return trip. The house used for the six-night packages, at Sidi Kaouki, is not named: ask for its address before you pay.
Who it suits, and what to know before booking
The school opened in 2017, founded by twins Mouhssin and Yassine, and teaches in French, English and Arabic. The guiding package is for people who already surf, the lesson packages for beginners. For a single day, the school sells a 2-hour group lesson from €30 a person, 3 to 5 students. A board on its own costs €10 for 2 hours, €15 for half a day and €20 for a day (rates checked on 25 October 2026). The group lesson is open from age 7, with daily slots open for booking until 31 December 2026.
Lessons are paid in cash on the day, and a deposit may be asked to confirm a package. If the sea is wrong for your level, the school moves the session or changes spot. Before you book, get three things spelt out: whether the price is per person, where the room is, and whether dinner is included.
To compare, La Maison des Vagues is another camp in the village, and Mogasurf Camp houses its guests in a villa near the airport. Our page on the Sidi Kaouki surf camps sets out what a camp week costs elsewhere and who it does not suit.
